Check out all the classes we have to offer at Lili Latin Dance! Each class has a description and any pre-requisites required in order to attend the class! Not sure what your level is? Send us an email!

Also, all classes are in 2 month session format with the exception of Salsa Lv 1 and Bachata Lv 1!

Salsa Level 1

Ready to start your Salsa Dance journey? This class is perfect for those new to the dance, or have tried it here and there and are ready for more instruction! Class will begin with a solo footwork warm-up, and then we apply those concepts into Partnerwork! No partner is required to attend the class as you will practice with everyone in class.

Salsa Level 2

Basics down? Amazing! You are ready for the next step! This class will continue building on the foundations taught in Salsa Basics and introduce a few more footwork and partner work concepts to increase your dance vocabulary. No partner is required to attend the class as you will practice with everyone in class.

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Footwork: Basic Step, Side Step, Back Step, Right Turn, Left Turn, Susie Q

  • Partnerwork: Be able to comfortably lead or follow Basic Step, Side Step, Back Step, Right Turn, Left Turn, Crossbody Lead

Salsa Level 3

Comfortable dancing Salsa with all your foundational moves? Time to make things fancy! This class is perfect for those who have danced Salsa for some time and have finessed the concepts discussed in Salsa Basics & Level 2! We will incorporate more body movement, musicality, and spinning technique.

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Footwork: Core Salsa Basics & Level 2 (Inside Turn, Outside Turn, Copa Turn, Half & Half)

  • Partnerwork: Be able to comfortably lead or follow Salsa Basics & Level 2 Concepts (Variation of Inside Turn, Outside Turn, Copa Turn, Simple Crossbody Lead variations)

Bachata Level 1

Ready to start your Bachata dancing? This class is perfect for those new to the dance, or have tried it here and there and are ready for more instruction! Class will begin with a solo footwork warm-up, and then we apply those concepts into Partnerwork! No partner is required to attend the class as you will practice with everyone in class.

Bachata
Level 2

Basics down? Amazing! You are ready for the next step! This class will continue building on the foundations taught in Bachata Basics and introduce a few more footwork and partner work concepts to increase your dance vocabulary. No partner is required to attend the class as you will practice with everyone in class.

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Footwork: Basic, Forward and Back Basic, Side Basic, Angle Basic, Box Basic, Step Tap, Right turn, Left turn

  • Partnerwork: Open & Closed Frame Connection concept; Lead/Follow Right and Left Turns, Basic, Forward and Back Basic, Box Basic, Side Basic, Basic in place

Bachata Sensual: Technique & Flow

Comfortable dancing Bachata with all your foundational moves? Time to make things fancy! This class is perfect for those who have danced Bachata for some time and have finessed the concepts discussed in Bachata Basics & Level 2! This class will focus on Bachata Urban and Sensual technique and less on choreographies. We will incorporate more spin variations, musicality, and body movement.

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Footwork: Core Bachata Basics & Level 2 (Swivels, Madrid, Slow Basic, V-Step, Side Prep Turns)

  • Partnerwork: Be able to comfortably lead or follow Bachata Basics concepts & Level 2 concepts (Variation of Hammerlocks, Wraps, 360 Pattern Movements, comfortable with Body Movement)

Latin Styling

Ready to add some spice to your dancing? This class will focus on the technical side of movement by focusing on drills to understand how we move our body and feet in harmony!

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Footwork: Salsa & Bachata Basics and up

Cuban Salsa

Interested in learning how to dance Cuban Salsa with sabor? Then this is your opportunity to learn an authentic Cuban style of dance with a Miami flavor. The class is progressive building off what was instructed in the prior class.  Each class will begin with a quick warm-up song and students are encouraged to jump in as combinations and hand calls will be reviewed each class, y le pongo sabor.
 

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Enthusiasm to learn an authentic style of dance

  • Prior dance experience not required

Colombian Salsa

Time for a new style of Salsa guaranteed to get your cardio workout done for the day! This special style of Salsa comes from Colombia, where they put a unique twist by adding an emphasis on musicality, intricate footwork and energetic partnerwork!

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Must have completed Salsa Basics and Level 2

Stretching for Dancers

This class is designed to help you improve your flexibility, range of motion, and overall body awareness, which are all essential skills for dancers. We will begin with gentle, dynamic warm-up movements that will prepare your body for stretching, and then move on to more intense stretches that will challenge your limits. Throughout the class, we will focus on proper technique and alignment. Our instructor will also provide modifications for each exercise, so you can customize the class to your fitness level and individual needs.

Please bring your own yoga mat and bring a bottle for water (we have limited amounts available at the studio). Also feel free to bring any yoga tools necessary such as straps, blocks, and/or resistance bands.​

 

Dance Tricks

With instructors Carlos Silva and Reggie Orozco, these amazing dancers will teach you the foundation of a variety of dance tricks! Each session begins with a 15 minutes dynamic warm-up* and then we will build on a few concepts and progress to other versions of the trick!

​

Drop in price will be $30. If you have a membership or classpack, you can apply the plan with no issue!

​

Prerequisites for this class:

  • Instructors will assess everyone and make sure all students are appropriate to do the class; this is not for students who have never done Partner Acrobatics or any dance before! Please email us to learn how to start your journey with Esh Circus Arts!

  • Must be able to squat 100 lbs

  • Hold a plank for 1 minute

  • Handstand against the wall for about 15 seconds

  • Enthusiastic about stretch, conditioning, and thorough warm-ups!

*For safety, if you miss the dynamic warm-up portion, you must ask the instructor if you can participate; missing the warm-up is required and crucial for your safety!
